The Pistol appoints first head of owned channels

The Pistol, has announced the appointment of digital and SEO professional Tudor Stefanescu as its first Head of Owned Channels. This newly created role is designed to lead and expand the digital marketing agency's owned channel offerings, with a particular focus on content, email automation, and loyalty strategies.

Stefanescu is set to collaborate closely with The Pistol's performance team. Together, they aim to integrate paid and owned offerings to develop strategic omnichannel solutions. With over 14 years of experience in digital marketing, Stefanescu brings a wealth of expertise in SEO, paid media, email marketing, and content to the agency.

His previous roles include serving as Digital Performance Lead for Gumtree, Head of SEO for GrowthOps, and Digital Director for iProspect. Stefanescu's extensive background is expected to enhance The Pistol's capabilities in delivering comprehensive media strategies.

The Pistol's client portfolio features a diverse range of brands, including DECJUBA, Vitasoy, Mars Petcare, The Brandbank Group, Prime Super, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and Bosch eBikes. The agency has been operational for 11 years, during which it has been instrumental in helping brands achieve double-digit ROI and establishing robust foundations for sustained business growth.

Originally known as Tiger Pistol, the agency has developed proprietary technologies aimed at addressing gaps in the digital media landscape. The appointment of Stefanescu is effective immediately.
