By Josh McDonnell - Senior Writer

WPP AUNZ's consolidation continues as it rolls together Ogilvy's brand strategy and creative with opr’s PR and Communications alongside Ogilvy Health.

What you need to know:

  • WPP AUNZ is consolidating the functions of the Ogilvy brand locally, creating the Ogilvy Australia Network.
  • The holding group has also created a new-look executive line-up, following the departure of long-time Ogilvy boss David Fox.

WPP AUNZ is consolidating the functions of the Ogilvy brand locally, creating the Ogilvy Australia Network.

The network will bring together Ogilvy's brand strategy and creative with opr’s PR and Communications alongside Ogilvy Health under a new executive team:

  • Sally Kissane has been promoted to CEO Ogilvy Agency, following David Fox who was recently named CEO for Ogilvy MENA.
  • Richard Brett, current opr CEO, expands his role as CEO for Ogilvy PR and Ogilvy Health.
  • Jason Davey, currently Head of Experience Technology, will lead Ogilvy’s Innovation and Experience businesses, becoming Chief Experience and Innovation Officer.
  • Dave Sayer, currently Chief Operations & Talent Officer at Ogilvy Australia and Chief Operations Officer for WPP AU’s Creative Agencies, broadens his remit as Chief Operations Officer for the Ogilvy AU Network.

"I’m confident the Ogilvy AU network, led by these creative and innovative leaders, will continue delivering big ideas and modern solutions that drive value for our clients across Australia," said Ogilvy Global CEO Andy Main.

WPP AUNZ is trying to create a more streamlined structure. Last month it merged media agency Ikon into AKQA Media and further mergers are likely.
