Dentsu trumps Sorrell's S4 in opening Adobe salvo

Adobe’s marketing symposium in Sydney last week saw Dentsu’s Accordant trump Biztech, the latest acquisition for Martin Sorrell’s S4 Capital, in the opening martech salvo between holding companies new and old.

Biztech took one of the Adobe Partner gongs, but Accordant managed to win two. The winners were:

  • Adobe Digital Experience Partner of the Year 2019 - Accordant
  • Adobe Customer Success Digital Experience Partner of the Year 2019 - Accordant
  • Adobe Multi-Solution Implementation Partner of the Year 2019 - Biztech
  • ANZ Marketo Partner of the Year 2019 - Resolution Marketing Services
  • ANZ Magento Partner of the Year 2019 – eWave

The march into martech and data for holding companies continues apace. Sorrell says he’s on the lookout for value, but has criticised some of the data plays by other holding groups in recent months.
