Hospitality start-up me&u – backed by the likes of Justin Hemmes, Neil Perry, Robbie Cooke, Will Easton and Jason Pellegrino – has hired Red Havas to handle comms across three continents.

The at table ordering firm was launched in 2018 by Stevan Premutico, founder of now Trip Advisor-owned online booking platform Dimmi. It scaled nationally though Covid.

Last year the company appointed My Muscle Chef top marketer Clementine Churchill to help drive growth in Australia, the UK and US and now claims it will notch $1bn in order revenue through its platform by the year end.

Other firms, like Commbank's Doshii are also making headway in the sector.
