Coastal ads expand,
Beaches Network reaches far,
Summer's call to brands.
oOh!media launches new portfolio of coastal assets
oOh!media has introduced the Beaches Network, a new portfolio of prominent assets across more than 100 coastal locations, including Bondi, Palm Beach, Glenelg, St Kilda, Suttons, and Cottesloe.
The Beaches Network builds on oOh!media securing long-term street furniture contracts in Sydney's coastal suburbs, which include a digital rollout in Waverley and upgrades in the Northern Beaches. It now boasts more than 800 sites that are within one kilometre of the coast, and more than 2,200 within two kilometres,
The outdoor company explained that spending in top coastal destinations increased by $76 million last summer, according to Westpac Data X, while nearly 80% of Australians reside within 50 kilometres of the coast, presenting advertisers with substantial opportunities to engage with audiences.
Bondi Beach alone attracts up to 50,000 visitors daily during the warmer months, while Cottesloe Beach sees over 600,000 visitors annually.
oOh!media Chief Revenue Officer Mark Fairhurst highlighted the network's potential to access Australia's summer economy, which is valued at $166 billion, according to Westpac data.
"Bondi sets the benchmark for coastal engagement, making it the ideal launchpad for our Beaches Network. With coverage now extending across Sydney’s Waverley Council and the Northern Beaches, we’re unlocking premium access to Australia’s summer economy, when Aussies are out and about, catching up with friends, and spending $166 billion. We’re giving brands unmatched reach to tap into that momentum," Fairhurst said.
