Former ANZ, AGL, ME Bank exec joins Merkle as data, analytics lead

Merkle has created a new role for Dr Catherine Lopes, a former ANZ Banking Group, AGL and ME Bank data exec. She joins in July as Chief Data and Analytics Officer.

Dentsu company Merkle has named Dr Catherine Lopes as its Chief Data and Analytics Officer for Australia and New Zealand.
Lopes has worked across Asia Pacific and North America and joins the company from consulting firm OpsDo Analytics, which focused on data strategy, governance, capability and analytics use cases. She has also worked at ANZ Banking Group, AGL and ME Bank.
She completed a PhD on machine learning.
Lopes joins the company on July 4.
