Adonix brings to market new transit network in Sydney CBD

Adonix has introduced a portfolio of ad space in Sydney's CBD with the launch of 100 digital cartop panels. The panels, mounted on taxis and rideshare vehicles, provide a mobile, digital-first alternative to static street advertising.

The network is powered by an in-house geofenced ad server, which enables campaigns to trigger advertisements as vehicles pass through designated zones. The technology allows advertisers to target specific areas within the CBD.

Adonix states that the new network offers a more cost-effective option for advertisers looking to reach the CBD audience, compared to existing street furniture deals. The company suggests that this could open up opportunities for a broader range of advertisers to access premium digital outdoor advertising.

Adonix Co-founder Ishan Cross commented on the launch, stating, "CBD digital outdoor has always been a highly sought-after asset, but often limited in its supply and difficult to access without huge budgets. We’re opening up the opportunity to reach this audience on premium digital outdoor for a wider pool of advertisers, which we could not be more thrilled with."

Looking ahead, Adonix plans to expand this CBD advertising model to Melbourne, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast within the next 12 months.
