“Tailored bidding strategies no longer require a team of data scientists and engineers to bring them to life,” Xandr’s Commercial Director Mark Serhan, Left, said. Right: Scibids' James Whitbread

Xandr says it will add Scibids’ AI to its Demand Side Platform, as algorithmic buying ramps up.

What you need to know:

  • Scibids has partnered with Xandr to integrate its AI decisionmaking software into Xandr’s Invest DSP.
  • Scibids AI works as a layer to a programmatic media buy that optimises the campaign for certain KPIs.

Artificial intelligence firm Scibids has announced a partnership with Xandr to integrate into its ad buying platform.

The new arrangement means buyers using Xandr’s Invest Demand Side Platform (DSP) will be able to add Scibids’ AI advertising decision-making into their campaigns, in a bid to make them more efficient at scale.

The AI software doesn’t track or profile users and works through Xandr’s ‘Data Science Toolkit’. The partnership will work across all premium inventory, including Connected TV and digital video.

“Tailored bidding strategies no longer require a team of data scientists and engineers to bring them to life,” Xandr’s Commercial Director Mark Serhan said.

James Whitbread, the newly appointed Scibids country manager for Australia and New Zealand, said: “Artificial Intelligence is raising expectations in marketing and none more so than in programmatic advertising.”
