Kyndryl enhances Agentic AI Framework for secure, scalable AI deployment

Kyndryl has announced enhancements to its Agentic AI Framework, aiming to assist businesses in scaling AI with a focus on security, compliance, and human oversight.

The newly introduced core of the Agentic AI Framework is designed to orchestrate, secure, and scale AI agents across various teams and systems. Key features of the framework include Kyndryl agentic ingestion, an agent builder, an enterprise-specific model, and a secure by design approach. These elements are intended to accelerate AI adoption in industries such as government, banking, insurance, and manufacturing.

Kyndryl is collaborating with Google Cloud to develop 100 AI Agents in 100 days, a project that underscores the company's commitment to rapid AI deployment. Additionally, Kyndryl is partnering with universities to foster AI talent, indicating a focus on developing future capabilities in the AI sector.

The framework includes capabilities for ingesting and analyzing code, policies, and data, which are essential for building and deploying AI agents. This process is supported by Kyndryl's agent builder, which allows teams to design, test, and deploy AI agents that align with security and regulatory requirements.

Kyndryl's approach supports a future workforce model that defines roles for AI agents and their collaboration with employees. This model is particularly relevant as industries increasingly integrate AI into their operations.

The company is also working on AI-enabled solutions tailored for specific sectors, including the insurance industry, government processes, and banking client onboarding. These solutions are part of Kyndryl's broader strategy to integrate AI into critical industry functions.

Kyndryl Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Martin Schroeter commented on the company's strategic direction, stating, "With decades of mission-critical infrastructure expertise, unique intellectual property and our AI consult methodology, Kyndryl is poised to lead our customers through this paradigm shift toward agentic AI."

Schroeter added, "Our differentiated approach blends agents within complex environments and empowers organisations to scale AI throughout their operations as they move to become AI-native."

The company, known as one of the world's largest IT infrastructure services providers, operates in over 60 countries.
