AI advertising platform Tap hires Meta's Melissa Green to lead strategic partnerships in Australia
AI-powered advertising platform Tap.co has appointed Melissa Green as Consulting Head of Strategic Partnerships to help drive the company's expansion into the Australian market.
Green brings over 20 years of experience in media and technology to the role, including a decade spent at Meta as national agency lead.
The new hire comes as the company prepares to launch an AI Ad Marketplace for the Australian media sector in the third quarter of 2025.
The marketplace will offer advertisers and agencies access to audiences across a variety of media formats, including broadcast, digital, out-of-home, print, podcasting, and emerging media formats.
Participating media companies in the marketplace will receive their own branded self-serve buying platforms. Initially launched in the United States in 2023, Tap.co currently supports over 750 media platforms across 80 cities. The platform provides advertisers and agencies with AI-powered access to more than 450 million weekly audience impressions across these traditional media brands.
Green will spend the next 30 days meeting with key media executives and industry stakeholders to finalise partnership arrangements for the marketplace. Media organisations or publishers interested in joining the Tap.co marketplace rollout are encouraged to contact her.
