By Sam Buckingham-Jones - Deputy Editor

"To be able to expand our network onto Queensland Rail platforms, where there are currently no out-of-home assets, is something we’re very excited about,’ VMG CEO Michael Fishwick said.

Captive Vision Outdoor has won a portion of the Queensland Rail out of home contract, and will install 250 static panels across 75 stations over the next three years.

What you need to know:

  • VMGowned Captive Vision Outdoor has won a 10-year out of home contract for Queensland rail to develop 250 static panels across 75 stations, seven rail lines.
  • The panels will be developed in H2 2022, and will roll out over three years.

Out of home company Captive Vision Outdoor has won a 10-year contract with Queensland Rail to build 250 static panels across 75 stations.

CVO, part of the independent media group VMG, joins JCDecaux, which has won the contract for a suite of large format sites with the state rail organisation.

The company will start developing the panels in the second half of 2022, and they’ll roll out over three years.

“The new contract between Captive Vision Outdoor and Queensland Rail creates a fantastic new opportunity for advertisers to communicate directly with rail commuters across the South East Queensland train network,” Peter Franklin, VMG’s Head of Commercial for OOH, said.
