Squarespace launches 'Click Click Click' campaign targeting Australian tradies
Squarespace has introduced a new brand campaign titled "Click Click Click" in Australia and New Zealand, commencing on June 13. The campaign is designed to celebrate Australian tradies, acknowledging their significant role in the small business sector.
The campaign reimagines the traditional folk song "Click Go the Shears" as a contemporary anthem for tradies. It aims to highlight how these professionals can leverage Squarespace's platform to establish a digital presence with ease.
Squarespace, known for assisting entrepreneurs in building brands and businesses online, offers a suite of tools encompassing websites, domains, ecommerce, marketing, scheduling, and social media management. The campaign underscores the platform's utility in simplifying the process of creating and maintaining an online presence for tradies.
The "Click Click Click" campaign was produced by Squarespace's in-house Creative team. It is currently live across various channels, including video on-demand, out-of-home advertising, and social media platforms in both Australia and New Zealand.
Alex Neilson, Senior Marketing Manager for Australia & New Zealand, commented on the campaign's focus: "Tradies are the backbone of Australia’s economy, but learning a trade is very different from learning to run a business. Typically, training focusses on the practical side of the job, with less emphasis on areas such as building a website and marketing the business. Squarespace aims to make that side of the business as simple as possible."
The campaign also features testimonials from current Squarespace users, such as Beth Moresi, owner of Beth Builds. Moresi shared her experience using the platform: "We're always flat out with builds, so we needed a website that could effectively capture leads, showcase our projects and be quick to update. Squarespace was the perfect choice. It's so easy to use, even for someone like me who's not a tech wiz."
