Digital banking platform ANZ Plus hits one million customers

ANZ Plus, the digital banking platform launched by ANZ in 2022, has reached a milestone of one million customers and nearly $20 billion in deposits. Approximately half of these customers are new to ANZ, indicating a significant expansion of the bank's customer base through this platform.

ANZ Plus was introduced with a focus on enhancing financial wellbeing for its users. Currently, 55% of ANZ Plus customers consider it their primary banking service. Nearly half of the platform's users engage with at least one of its financial wellbeing features, such as Round-Ups, card controls, or savings goals.

Security remains a priority for ANZ Plus, with 99% of its customers maintaining or enhancing the default Scam Safe protections. Scam Safe is a suite of features aimed at safeguarding against fraud and scams, supported by ANZ's security measures and ANZ Falcon® technology.

ANZ Plus is positioned as one of ANZ's two core platforms, alongside Transactive Global. Recent enhancements to ANZ Plus include the introduction of My Accounts, ANZ Plus Add-Ons, and additional home loan features.

The My Accounts feature offers a real-time consolidated view of bank accounts across ANZ and other Australian financial institutions. This feature is designed to provide users with a comprehensive overview of their financial standing.

ANZ Plus Add-Ons enable customers to customise their banking experience with ANZ's money management tools and third-party integrations. This flexibility is intended to cater to the diverse financial needs of its users.

The platform's home loan features now include an offset feature and options to access home equity, providing customers with more tools to manage their mortgage and leverage their home investment.
