Salesforce to acquire process intelligence firm Apromore
Salesforce has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Apromore, a company specialising in process intelligence software. Apromore's expertise lies in assisting organisations to discover, simulate, and optimise their business processes.
The acquisition aims to incorporate Apromore's process intelligence and optimisation capabilities into the Salesforce platform. This move is intended to bolster Salesforce's agentic process automation capabilities. The integration is expected to provide Salesforce with comprehensive process visibility across various systems and applications.
Apromore's technology is set to support Salesforce's automation strategy by mapping business processes and identifying opportunities for automation and operational improvements. The company offers features such as Process & Task Mining, Digital Twins & Simulation, Root-Cause Analysis, and Intelligent Compliance Assurance.
The acquisition is anticipated to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce's fiscal year 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
Steve Fisher, President and Chief Product Officer at Salesforce, stated, "Apromore gives customers the end-to-end visibility they need to understand how their business truly operates."
He stated, "As our teams integrate Apromore into Salesforce, that insight will be critical to enabling our customers to unlock opportunities to measure, optimize, and automate through agentic process automation."
Marcello La Rosa, CEO and Co-Founder of Apromore, commented, "For over a decade, we have been dedicated to democratizing process intelligence through cutting-edge research."
La Rosa added, "Joining Salesforce is the ultimate acceleration of that vision. The majority of our customers already deploy our technology on Salesforce and now, we can help enterprises around the world eliminate operational blind spots and drive measurable improvements at an unprecedented scale."
