Indie agency Kaimera snares former PHD strategy boss Stewart Gurney

By Press release - Kaimera

Stewart Gurney, former Chief Strategy Officer at PHD Australia has joined the independent full-service media agency, Kaimera, to grow their strategic and planning capabilities.

Gurney was with PHD for more than eight years and was instrumental in delivering the company’s consistent growth and new business wins, as well as developing their strategic and innovation product.

His appointment continues the trend of independent agencies growing at a time when many of the global networks continue to deal with tough market conditions and industry-wide redundancies.

Nick Behr, Kaimera Founder and CEO says, “At a time when others are sitting back and watching, it’s a chance for Kaimera to grow the team and continue to build a strong proposition in market.”

“Stewart’s resume speaks for itself and we are delighted to have someone of his ability, experience and character to drive Kaimera forward through his distinguished marketing thinking.”

Kaimera has recently promoted Conor Riordan to Client Director and Jade Harley to Brand, Social & Content Director, while also currently hiring for two other roles within the business.
