Brent Kerby joins Clemenger BBDO as CEO

Dentsu ANZ and Clemenger Group have started 2022 with a hire from each other. Brent Kerby has been named CEO of Clemenger BBDO, leaving Dentsu’s BWM Isobar.

What you need to know:

  • Brent Kerby, Sydney MD of Dentsu’s BWM Isobar, has been appointed CEO of Clemenger BBDO. He starts from February.
  • Clemenger Group CEO Les Timar said Kerby combined creativity with data and tech and had a strong diversity, equity and inclusion focus.

Clemenger Group has named Brent Kerby, former BWM Isobar Sydney Managing Director, to lead its Clemenger BBDO creative business in the city.

Kerby replaces Pete Bosilkovski, who resigned as Sydney CEO last year.

Les Timar, the CEO of Clemenger Group, said Kerby was a “new age leader” who had a strong commitment to DE&I and combined creativity with data and technology.

Kerby said Clemenger BBDO had been at the “pinnacle of commercial creativity for as long as I can remember”.

Angela Tangas, CEO of Dentsu ANZ, thanked Kerby for his work in the Sydney market.

He begins his new role in February.
