IAB names Sarah Waladan as Policy & Regulatory Affairs Director

Sarah Waladan has joined IAB Australia

“We are thrilled to have someone of Sarah’s caliber joining the team," IAB Australia CEO Gai Le Roy said.

With an ACCC report into the digital advertising ecosystem imminent and various legislative changes on the horizon for privacy and the digital environment, IAB Australia has appointed Sarah Waladan as Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs.

  • Waladan joins from Free TV Australia, where she held a similar role.

IAB Australia has named Sarah Waladan as its Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs, effective immediately. Waladan joins from Free TV Australia, where she was Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Joint Company Secretary advising the body on communications law, as well as regulatory and policy issues.

Her role at IAB Australia will be to work with member organisations and policy makers to navigate local and global regulations in the digital advertising environment.

“I look forward to working with publishers, tech platforms and advertisers on the important policy and regulatory issues that the sector faces into the future,” Waladan said.
