Nova launches 'Four the Record' podcast with Tim Blackwell and Joe Hildebrand
Nova has launched a new podcast hosted by well-known radio personality Tim Blackwell and journalist Joe Hildebrand. The podcast, 'Four the Record', is set to release its episodes weekly every Thursday morning, accessible through the Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel show’s podcast feed.
'Four the Record' is designed as a 20-minute segment where Blackwell poses four questions to Hildebrand on a current hot topic. The podcast aims to deliver an unfiltered perspective on contemporary issues, promising content with "no spin or BS".
The announcement for the new podcast was made during the Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel show, which is broadcast on Nova from 4pm to 6pm. Listeners have the option to stream the show live or catch up later via the Nova Player.
On the Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel show, radio host Blackwell stated, "So Joe knows everything, right? And I don't. I'm kind of like this classic radio person…so I know the tip of every issue. I don't know what's under the under the surface of any issue, the underbelly. Today, we're going to launch episode one, and it's me asking four questions about the biggest news story of the week."
Hildebrand, who brings his experience as a journalist, podcaster, and TV host, said: "I'm just cutting out the middleman. I just read the newspaper and tell you what's in it." Hildebrand's approach is to provide straightforward insights into the news, aligning with the podcast's mission to offer a direct take on current affairs.
In addition to his role in 'Four the Record', Hildebrand hosts Nova's 'The Real Story with Joe Hildebrand' podcast, focusing on breaking down significant news stories on a weekly basis.
