Sales guns: Finalists for the 2021 Media i Awards announced – full list here

By Chris Winterburn - Managing Director, Media i

The Media i Award is the culmination of over 2,000 media agency peers voting for the individuals & teams they believe achieved excellence in media sales.

The votes of more than 2,000 media agency professionals are in, with each of them voting for the media sales teams and individuals they think are the best in the business in a showdown that takes place 10 November. See all the names in the running to be recognised for media sales excellence here.

The Media i Awards – run by Mi3's publisher, ask media agencies to vote each year for the people and teams they think are the best in the business.

Media I polls 2,000-plus agency professionals, with each agency respondent voting for the best media sales teams and representative they engaged with during 2021.

This year’s Media i Awards finalists will compete in the following categories:

  • National Sales Team of the Year
  • Sales Team of the Year by Market (NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia & South Australia); and
  • Sales Person of the Year – by Market, by Category (Television, Digital, Outdoor, Print Media, Radio)

Due to ongoing travel restrictions and limits on large indoor gatherings resulting from COVID-19 winners will again be announced during a virtual ceremony. To join the event simply log onto https://www.stream2.ipshub.live/ just prior to 5pm [AEDT] on the 10th of November. For further information on the awards night, go to www.mediaiawards.com.au

“The Media i Awards not only recognise the professionalism and excellence of sales teams and individuals, but this year the results they achieved for clients in collaboration with media agencies against what has been an incredibly difficult backdrop," said Media i CEO, Charles Parry-Okeden.

Media i Managing Director, Chris Winterburn added: “The importance of the Media i Awards has been proven once again with this year’s voting representing near on 80 per cent of the media owner facing agency fraternity. Finalists should feel immensely proud of their nomination.”

As always, the Media i Awards have been well supported by the media industry, including the principle sponsor the Media Federation of Australia, returning category sponsors Carat, Initiative Kaimera, Mediabrands, OMD, PHD, Starcom, UM, & Zenith along with new sponsor Hatched Media.
