Listnr partners with Super Hi-Fi to launch curated music playlists
Southern Cross Austereo's (SCA) Listnr has entered a strategic partnership with global music management platform Super Hi-Fi to enhance and diversify the platform's playlist offering. The initiative aims to enhance the playlist curation process through the use of Super Hi-Fi's Program Director technology.
In addition to this partnership, Listnr has also teamed up with I Like Music to access a global music library comprising over 1.3 million songs. This extensive library will support the creation of new playlists that cater to a diverse range of musical tastes and demographics.
The newly curated playlists include a variety of genres such as K-Pop, Pride, Run Club, R’n’B Chill, Billion Streams Club, Rap Revolution, Essential Emo, Lofi Study Beats, Fresh Folk Hits, and Chill Electronic. These playlists are designed to target diverse and younger demographics, enhancing the platform's appeal to a broader audience.
The new music playlists are now available on the Listnr platform. Listnr is a free app that offers a wide range of content including radio, podcasts, music, and news. It is accessible on multiple devices, including iOS, Android, CarPlay, Android Auto, Google Assistant, Alexa, and Android TV.
Chris Johnson, Executive Head of Listnr Product & Technology, commented on the partnership, stating, "Listnr remains future focussed and committed to delivering new capabilities that will lead to an enhanced audience experience. Super HiFi’s new scalable approach delivers Listnr the technology and tools to bring an expansive range of music playlists to Australian audiences, driving engagement within the platform."
Super Hi-Fi, founded in 2018, provides AI-powered solutions for radio, aiming to improve listening experiences and reduce operational costs. The company's clients include notable names such as Sonos Radio, iHeartRadio, Audacy Radio, Beasley Media, Peloton, and Fubo.
CEO of Super Hi-Fi, Zack Zalon, said: "We are honoured to work with SCA, one of the world’s leading broadcasters. We’re so excited to support them in delivering incredible new audio experiences while enhancing their operations, a potent combination designed to drive growth and reinforce their market position."
The partnership between Listnr and Super Hi-Fi represents a significant step in the evolution of digital music curation, aiming to provide a more personalised and engaging listening experience for users.
