Maggi Kari noodles, a staple in Malaysian cuisine for over half a century, have made their debut in Australian supermarkets. This expansion marks a significant step for the brand, which has been a favourite among Malaysians for decades.

To commemorate the Australian launch, a special event is scheduled to take place at Ho Jiak Town Hall, a renowned hatted restaurant located in Sydney. The event is set for Thursday, 22 May, commencing at 5pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Maggi Kari noodles in a unique culinary setting.

Chef Junda Khoo, known for his expertise in Malaysian cuisine, will be serving curry noodles in three distinct styles at the event. This collaboration aims to showcase the versatility and flavour of Maggi Kari noodles. 

The event promises an affordable dining experience, with bowls of noodles priced at $3. In addition to the main dish, there will be a selection of Maggi Kari inspired sides available for attendees to enjoy. The event is designed to provide a taste of Malaysian culinary tradition in a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

Bookings for the event opened on Thursday, 15 May, and have seen a strong response. While the event is nearly sold out, a limited number of walk-in tables will be available for those who wish to attend without prior reservations. This offers an opportunity for last-minute attendees to partake in the celebration.

A media preview event is also scheduled for Monday, 19 May, at 6pm. This preview will provide media representatives with an early glimpse of the culinary offerings and the event's atmosphere. It serves as a precursor to the main event, highlighting the anticipation and excitement surrounding the launch.
