King Living appoints UM Australia as global media agency

Furniture design company, King Living, has announced UM Australia as its new global media agency, with the IPG Mediabrands shop set to oversee media strategies that cater to both local and international audiences.

The appointment is effective from 24 February, the account to be run out of UM's Sydney office, serving King Living's operations across the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, and China. The company's previous ANZ media agency partner was Noisy Beast.

The new partnership signals a strategic move to streamline and enhance the company's global media operations to ensure cohesive and effective communication across all markets.

"We are thrilled to partner with UM Australia as our global media agency. Their strategic counsel, research and data smarts, together with their collaborative global network will allow us to deliver unified yet locally resonant campaigns. This appointment is a pivotal step in driving our brand’s growth and deepening our connection with customers worldwide," said Chief Marketing Officer at King Living, Anna Howarth.

CEO at UM Australia, Anathea Ruys, said: "Our commitment to innovative solutions and local market understanding will help King Living achieve their global objectives. We are excited to bring their vision to life through impactful, results-driven media strategies that resonate with diverse global audiences."

UM Australia's client roster also includes global names such as Tourism Australia, American Express, General Mills, Emirates, Johnson & Johnson, Levi Strauss & Co, Dyson, Enterprise holdings, GrubHub, Upfield, ExxonMobil, Sony, and Mattel.

Howarth also acknowledged former media agency partner, Noisy Beast. "We are grateful to Noisy Beast for their contributions to King Living over the years. We sincerely value the foundation they have helped us build. Their dedication, agility, partnership, and deep understanding of our brand operations and ethos have been absolutely instrumental in our growth," she said.
