Dentsu launches new dedicated commerce team to address 'rapid growth' of online shopping

Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ has launched a new dedicated team, Dentsu Commerce.

The team has been formed to help brands create "connected, seamless experiences" that develop possibilities to reach customers on every channel and at every touchpoint.

As a key strategic pillar of dentsu ANZ’s long-term growth strategy, brands looking for commerce solutions can now draw upon the capabilities of Dentsu’s global agency expertise via one central team.

“Online shopping has rapidly grown over the last few years, however 2020 has undeniably accelerated the rate of change. Many businesses have needed to play catch-up and rapidly build an eCommerce solution in response to COVID-19," Angela Tangas, Dentsu ANZ’s Chief Executive Officer says.

“Commerce today has no boundaries. Customers no longer ‘go shopping’ but are instead ‘always shopping’ and to stand out in today’s competitive landscape, businesses need to think beyond having a static website."
