Bastion raids Wunderman Thompson for strategic creative leaders

Independent agency network Bastion has hired Angela Morris as National Chief Strategy Officer and Ana Lynch as Sydney Managing Partner. The two join from WPP's Wunderman Thompson.

Indie holdco Bastion has hired two creative leaders from Wundermann Thompson.

Angela Morris joins as National Chief Strategy Officer and Ana Lynch joins as Sydney Managing Partner, Bastion Creative.

Morris was formerly National Chief Strategy Officer at WPP-owned Wunderman Thompson, Lynch was a Partner.

The hires follow strong growth at Bastion Creative under CEO Mike Godwin, with brands including HealthDirect, Continental, Cancer Institute Vaping campaign, SIXT Car & Truck Rental, Bosch, Sydney Rock Oysters, Engineers Australia, plus State Government projects such as the Department of Education School Attendance and Maths campaigns.
