KPMG promotes Carmen Bekker to lead marketing advisory division

KPMG has announced a restructure of its Customer, Brand & Marketing Advisory team, with Carmen Bekker stepping into the role of Lead Partner, as Amanda Hicks takes another role within the business. The unit is beefing up with a number of other hires.

  • KPMG's Amanda Hicks is exiting as Lead Partner for KPMG's marketing division.
  • Carmen Bekker steps into the role as the team expands.

KPMG Australia has promoted Carmen Bekker to lead its "new look" leadership team for the Customer, Brand & Marketing Advisory (CBMA) division.

She will head up a team that includes several promotions and lateral hires from within the firm including:

  • Newly promoted Partner, and financial services specialist, Ben Kilpatrick
  • Social media and consumer insights specialist Louise Pogmore
  • Payments and products advisory Partner Brett Watson who joins from the KPMG banking team

Outgoing CBMA Lead Partner Amanda Hicks is taking on a new role as the National Managing Partner – Client Experience & Brand.
