"I’ve always thought of data and technology as invisible enablers of more meaningful brand storytelling and consumer connection," Andy Copeland, Cummins&Partners new Chief Data & Technology Officer, says.

Cummins&Partners has appointed Andy Copeland as its Chief Data and Technology Officer. He joins from Reprise and will focus on linking creative and media across multiple digital touchpoints, as the agency continues to invest in its own tech capabilities.

What you need to know:

  • Andy Copeland, former Head of Ecommerce at IPG Mediabrands-owned Reprise, has joined Cummins&Partners as Chief Data and Technology Officer.
  • His appointment is a “natural extension” to the business as e-commerce has been growing quickly, and it builds on the indie agency’s creative and media services.

Independent agency Cummins&Partners has hired Andy Copeland as Chief Data and Technology Officer.

Copeland moves after four years as Head of E-commerce at IPG Mediabrands’ Reprise, and will be focused on connecting messaging, media and creative for marketers across multiple touchpoints.

Cummins&Partners says Copeland’s appointment adds to their creative and media offering, after investing heavily in their own trade desk and Data Management Platform (DMP). The agency now bills in excess of $50 million.

Sean Cummins, CEO of Cummins&Partners, said e-commerce had been “growing at an accelerated rate” and this was a natural extension to the business.
