Spotify launches 'tunetorials' B2B campaign with musical twist

Spotify has unveiled a new B2B campaign titled 'Tunetorials', aimed at marketers, agencies, and brand decision-makers. The campaign is accessible in multiple markets, including Australia.

'Tunetorials' is designed to transform media-buying tutorials into original songs and music videos. The initiative was developed in partnership with FCB New York and features six original tracks performed by emerging artists. Each track addresses different advertising planning solutions.

The tracks are available for streaming, can be viewed as music videos, and are also released on a limited-edition vinyl.

The campaign includes two animated music videos and a live-action film, all produced by FCB New York. Each track is also being adapted into short-form advertisements that will be distributed across Spotify, LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube.

Adrian Bingham, Spotify ANZ Head of Sales, commented on the campaign: "Tunetorials is the latest innovative B2B piece from Spotify, created around a simple concept: what if learning about Spotify Advertising could be as fun as using Spotify? We know Spotify advertisers love creativity and music, so we met them there, transforming how-to lessons into original songs and music videos!"

Bingham stated, "Tunetorials is a surprise-and-delight campaign that blends education with entertainment, so learning doesn't feel like a chore. Ultimately this campaign showcases the full power of our platform by inspiring brands and agencies to see Spotify's suite of ad solutions in a whole new way."

The campaign follows Spotify's previous Cannes Lions Grand Prix-winning 'Spreadbeats' campaign. The full 'Tunetorials' album is available on Spotify, with additional information provided on Spotify’s For the Record website.

The track listing covers a range of topics, including measuring campaign performance, reaching target audiences, running multi-format campaigns, driving ROI, tracking ad success, and creating ads specifically for Spotify.
