Reece overhauls payments, CX across 600 stores with Adyen's commerce platform
Leading plumbing and bathroom supplies business Reece has signed on with global fintech platform Adyen to modernise its payments infrastructure, streamline operations and enhance customer experience across its network of 600 stores and online channels.
The integration of Adyen's Unified Commerce platform into Reece's systems is a key component of this partnership. This platform consolidates various payment systems, offering seamless transactions and providing real-time customer insights. The implementation is designed to facilitate a more efficient and cohesive customer journey, both in-store and online.
A notable feature of this collaboration is Adyen's Pay by Link technology. It allows customers to complete payments via SMS, social media, QR codes, or kiosks, aiming to provide a secure and frictionless checkout experience. Additionally, the partnership includes Adyen's built-in risk management solution, which is intended to bolster Reece's fraud prevention measures.
Yogesh Bahuguna, Distinguished Engineer at Reece, said: "We've always embraced our value of keeping it simple. Our partnership with Adyen has empowered us to simplify our operations-benefiting Reece and our customers. The implementation of the simple, yet powerful Pay by Link technology has also increased customer satisfaction due to streamlined payment processes."
Reece, which has been providing plumbing supplies and services in Australia and New Zealand for over a century, aims to differentiate itself by innovating for better customer experiences. The rollout of Adyen's technology across Reece's physical stores and online channels is a strategic move to enhance these experiences.
Adyen's risk management solution is designed to assist Reece in blocking fraud, preventing disputes, and staying ahead of vulnerability trends. This aspect of the partnership is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of Reece's payment systems.
Hayley Fisher, Country Manager for Adyen Australia and New Zealand, stated: "As a leader in the industry, Reece needs a payments partner that could match its wide range of offerings, offer top-notch customer experience, and help achieve its business goals of staying innovative and secure. A single view of customer insights, powered by Unified Commerce, will help the company cater to its diverse consumer demographics. We're looking forward to continuing our partnership with Reece."
Adyen, which is listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange (AMS: ADYEN), works with various global companies to provide advanced payment solutions.
