Old El Paso joins forces with Melbourne Renegades for next BBL series

Old El Paso is bringing its name to the Big Bash League 15th season. The collaboration positions Old El Paso as the Official Platinum Partner for the BBL, Official Partner for the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), and Official World Food Partner for the BBL. It is also partnering with the Melbourne Renegades.

As part of the agreement, the Old El Paso logo will be prominently displayed on the sleeve of the Melbourne Renegades team's jerseys throughout the season. The partnership will also feature various activations, including a Renegades Fan Cam takeover and a 'Hard vs Soft Taco' vote, aimed at engaging fans in a playful manner.

The Melbourne Renegades' BBL 15 season is scheduled to commence on 9 November, with a match against the Brisbane Heat Women. The games will be broadcast on Channel 7, 7plus, Kayo, and Foxtel, providing extensive coverage for fans across the country.

Old El Paso, a leading Mexican-inspired food brand in Australia, is known for its range of products, including tacos, tortillas, seasonings, and sauces. The brand is owned by General Mills, which reported fiscal 2025 net sales of U.S. $19 billion.

Surini Perera, Marketing Director ANZ and Old El Paso ANZ said, "At Old El Paso we’re all about bringing families together, whether it’s around the dinner table or in the stands. We’re proud to partner with Melbourne Renegades, a club that shares our strong sense of community and connection."

James Rosengarten, General Manager of the Melbourne Renegades added, "Their focus on bringing people together through food and fun matches perfectly with the way we aim to connect with our fans. Both Old El Paso and the Renegades create and celebrate memorable moments, and together we’ll do just that across the BBL and WBBL this season."
