Focus Creative secures double silver at World Design Awards 2024

Sydney-based agency Focus Creative has been awarded two Silver awards at the World Design Awards 2024 for its work on campaigns for Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network NSW, and De’Longhi Global.

The awards recognise a broad range of design projects sourced from organiser Better Future's past regional, design capitals and sector award programs. Focus Creative's was considered after taking out Gold at the Sydney and Australian Design Awards.

The agency's project for Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network NSW, titled 'Just the Place', won Silver in the Brand Experience category. This campaign aimed to reshape perceptions and bolster recruitment efforts for Justice Health NSW by developing an Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

Talent Coordinator at NSW Justice Health Mental Health Network, Matthew Veljanovski, said: "Focus Creative has allowed us to have those conversations that we previously couldn't have with potential employees. By turning what was considered a negative into a clear value proposition, we've removed a barrier and helped carve out a reason to choose us!"

The second project, 'La Specialista Opera', was for De’Longhi Global and won Silver in the Film or Video category. This campaign introduced De’Longhi’s latest innovation through a distinctive messaging framework and storytelling approach.

Founder of Focus Creative, Carlos Jonmundsson, said: "These awards are a testament to the dedication and talent of our team. It’s an honour to see our work recognised at this level. Focus Creative extends its gratitude to the clients and collaborators who helped bring these projects to life."

Focus Creative is part of the Focus Group, which also includes Future Focus and Batch Services. The group specialises in human insights, strategy, and creative solutions, aiming to drive business success and social impact through branding, communications, insight, and sustainability.
