Boomi unveils AI-driven innovations at Boomi World 2025, led by Agentstudio, a comprehensive agent lifecycle management solution

Boomi has announced a series of new product innovations at its annual event, Boomi World 2025, with a focus on AI-driven automation. It also announced Atturra as the winner of its Australian and New Zealand Partner of the Year. The company introduced Boomi Agentstudio, a comprehensive agent lifecycle management solution that is now generally available to the public. Boomi Agentstudio is designed to enable organisations to design, govern, and orchestrate AI agents at scale within a no-code environment.

In addition to the launch of Agentstudio, Boomi has been approved as a Data Processor for Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers. This approval includes support for centralised agent registration for Amazon Bedrock. The company has also deployed new Boomi AI Agents, which include the Integration Advisor Agent, API Design Agent, API Documentation Agent, and Data Connector Agent. These AI agents are available as part of the Boomi Enterprise Platform at no additional cost.

Boomi has also announced support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) within its platform. This development is part of Boomi's ongoing efforts to enhance its data integration capabilities. Boomi Data Integration, formerly known as Rivery, is now integrated into the Boomi platform, offering automated, end-to-end data pipelines and enhanced observability.

Steve Lucas, Chairman and CEO at Boomi, commented on the challenges faced by modern enterprises, stating, "Today’s enterprises are overwhelmed by digital fragmentation and data sprawl. The future belongs to organizations that can intelligently connect everything and automate anything — and Boomi is THE platform that makes it happen. With these innovations, we’re empowering our customers to move faster, work smarter, and lead in an AI-first world."

Matt Aslett, director of research at ISG, highlighted the importance of data platforms in AI adoption, saying, "As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, they require data platforms that bridge silos, streamline data management, and deliver intelligent automation. Boomi’s platform approach is well placed for this opportunity — combining integration, automation, API management, and data management with AI-native capabilities to meet the challenges of digitally fragmented enterprises."

Ed Macosky, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Boomi, emphasised the company's position in the market, stating, "Boomi is uniquely positioned at the intersection of AI, enterprise data, and business process automation. As originators of the iPaaS category — and the first integration and automation platform to introduce AI agents with full lifecycle management — Boomi continues to lead the industry forward. With today’s announcements, we’re setting a new standard for AI-driven automation, empowering organizations to move faster, operate smarter, and unlock the full value of their data."
