The Iconic has overhauled its delivery service for Melbourne metro customers, cutting the free standard delivery time to 1-2 days - a 50% improvement from the previous four-day delivery period.

The overhaul is facilitated by logistic partners and upgrades to service models, enabling more efficient transportation from the company's Sydney-based Fulfilment Centre.

The new delivery model aims to reduce reliance on traditional speed-service transport methods and aligns with The Iconic's focus on low emissions delivery options. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Chief Operations Officer at The Iconic, Rostin Javadi, said: "I am thrilled to announce our improved delivery services in Melbourne. By reducing our standard delivery time by 50% and introducing options like Twilight Delivery, we are setting new standards in e-commerce and also prioritising our Melbourne customer, who until now hasn’t had access to our same and next day services. We are looking forward to expanding faster delivery options to other markets across Australia."

In addition to the standard delivery improvements, The Iconic has introduced Twilight Delivery for Melbourne and Brisbane Metro areas. Launched at the end of 2024, this service allows customers to shop between 5pm and 8am, with deliveries scheduled between 6pm and 10pm the following or same day.

The updated delivery options for Melbourne customers include several tiers. Standard delivery, which is free for orders above $75, now takes 1-2 business days for orders placed until 1:00pm. Express delivery, priced at $4.95 for orders over $75 or $11.95 for orders under $75, offers next-day delivery for orders placed until 1:00pm. Twilight delivery, costing $15.95 for orders over $75 or $17.95 for orders under $75, provides next-day or same-day service for orders placed before 8am on the day of delivery. Additionally, Collection Points offer 1-2 business day delivery for orders placed until 1:00pm the day before, free for orders over $75 or $8.95 for orders under $75.

This announcement follows the integration of Australia Post Parcel Lockers in 2024, which offers customers 24/7 secure access to pick up their deliveries. This integration is part of The Iconic's ongoing efforts to enhance convenience and flexibility for its customers.
