Snapchat has rolled out a series of new features for 2025, aimed at enhancing user interaction and personalisation. The updates include enhancements for Snapchat+, custom Gen AI Stickers, new Bitmoji styles, and an AI Lens.

Snapchat+ subscribers are set to benefit from a new feature called 'Snap Modes'. This feature allows users to send self-destructing Snaps that disappear if not viewed within a predetermined time frame.

In addition to Snap Modes, Snapchat+ subscribers in the U.S. will have access to custom Gen AI Stickers. These stickers are designed to be tailored to users' messages, offering a personalised touch to their communications.

Bitmoji avatars are also receiving a wardrobe update. Users can now dress their avatars in new styles, including long skirts, dresses, and themed outfits for occasions such as Valentine's Day. Fookes commented, "Bitmoji avatars can receive a wardrobe update with an expanded selection of styles, including new long skirts and dresses."

The introduction of an AI-powered Lens is another highlight of Snapchat's 2025 features. This new Lens allows users to create a movie poster featuring themselves and a friend, aligning with the award season theme.
