Hungry Jack's and Adyen to continue to roll out donations for Make-a-Wish until end 2025

Hungry Jack's is extending its partnership with global payments company Adyen to continue to roll out 'Adyen Giving' across all 471 of its Australian restaurants.

The initiative, which allows customers to round up their purchases at checkout, with the additional amount donated to Make-A-Wish Australia, will continue to roll, dollar-for-dollar, until the end of 2025.

In the first month of implementation, the initiative raised $58,000 for the charity.

The commitment has contributed to a record-breaking $2.7 million raised for Make-A-Wish Australia in June 2025.

Hungry Jack’s CEO Chris Green said, "We’re proud to support Make-A-Wish Australia in helping grant life-changing wishes."

Adyen has been powering Hungry Jack's payments network since 2018, providing end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products globally.

Adyen Australia and New Zealand Country Manager Hayley Fisher said, "This is exactly why we built Adyen Giving – to help businesses like Hungry Jack’s turn everyday transactions into real impact."

Hungry Jack's, known for its flame-grilled Whopper, operates over 470 restaurants across Australia. The partnership with Adyen aims to leverage technology to facilitate customer contributions to charitable causes.

Fisher remarked, "It’s powerful to see technology making it easier for customers to contribute, and we’re proud to support Hungry Jack’s and Make-A-Wish Australia in creating meaningful change."

Make-A-Wish Australia, part of the world's largest wish-granting organisation, has granted over 11,000 wishes since its inception in 1985.

Make-A-Wish Australia CEO Sally Bateman added, "Hungry Jack’s has been an incredible partner to Make-A-Wish Australia, with its commitment felt in every store and community.

"With the simple and convenient support of Adyen Giving, its customers’ generosity is helping create unforgettable experiences for seriously ill children and their families across Australia," she said.
