IAB Australia expands membership with 13 new additions

IAB Australia has announced the addition of 13 new members in the first four months of 2025, bringing its total membership to 188. The new members include Adgile Media, AdFixus, Quora, Reddit, Australian Venue Co, StackAdapt, TechMedia, Hype & Dexter, Thanks, Audience Group, FreeWheel, Smartly, and Captify.

These new members join 175 existing members, which include notable names such as Terry White Chemmart, Metcash, and Fetch TV. IAB Australia is an independent industry association that boasts nearly 9,000 members globally. It is one of 45 IAB offices worldwide, dedicated to supporting sustainable and diverse investment in digital advertising within Australia.

Membership in IAB Australia offers several benefits, such as participation in industry discussions, access to policy advice on regulatory issues, and adherence to industry best practice guidelines. Members also gain access to advertising and measurement standards and can attend IAB events at no cost.

The organisation works to align industry stakeholders to develop solutions for market issues and establish standards for digital advertising. This approach aims to foster a collaborative environment where industry challenges can be addressed collectively.

Gai Le Roy, CEO of IAB Australia, commented on the expansion of the membership base, stating, "One of the IAB's greatest strengths is the breadth of the industry represented by our members both locally and internationally. Together they enable us to grow sustainable and diverse investment in digital advertising in Australia. Everything we do is designed to enable better business for our members by tackling vital challenges, showing what great advertising can do, and looking ahead to help them prepare for the future."

IAB Australia say its role in the digital advertising landscape is to support the industry by developing standards and guidelines that facilitate effective advertising practices. With the addition of new members, IAB Australia says it will continue to expand its influence and capacity to address industry needs and foster growth in digital advertising.
