News Corp Australia picks up wins at INMA Global Media Awards

News Corp Australia has been recognised with multiple awards at the International News Media Association (INMA) Global Media Awards, held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The company was named Best in Asia/Pacific for its National Bush Summit Campaign, a distinction that underscores its commitment to rural and regional Australia.

The National Bush Summit Campaign also secured first place in the Best Public Relations or Community Service Campaign category. The initiative, launched by The Daily Telegraph in New South Wales in 2019, expanded to a national level in 2023, reflecting the company's dedication to addressing significant Indigenous issues and fostering a better Australia for all citizens.

News Corp Australia also received two second-place awards. The first was for Best Use of an Event to Build a New Brand for 'Future Series Presented by News Corp Australia'. The second was for Best New Audio/Voice Product or Feature for 'Dying Rose'. These awards highlight the company's innovative approach and forward-thinking strategy in the rapidly evolving media landscape.

The INMA is a global community of market-leading news media companies, boasting more than 21,000 members at over 1,000 news media companies in more than 90 countries. The INMA Global Media Awards are highly regarded within the industry, making News Corp Australia's success a significant achievement.

News Corp Australasia Executive Chairman, Michael Miller, expressed his pride in the company's accomplishments. "Congratulations to our winners at the prestigious INMA Global Media Awards. This recognition demonstrates News' focus on rural and regional Australia; innovation and forward thinking; and highlights our coverage of important Indigenous issues. All three winners produced world-class content that shows our commitment to building a better Australia, for all Australians."
