AI agents rise,
Enterprise context unites,
Workato leads way.
Workato launches enterprise platform to drive agentic AI uptake
Workato has introduced Workato One, a platform designed to integrate AI agents into enterprise operations. The platform enables companies to build, deploy, and govern AI agents with enterprise context across systems such as CRM, ERP, HR, and ITSM.
Workato One aims to address the need for artificial intelligence that collaborates across teams, applications, and data to deliver business outcomes. The platform includes components such as Workato Orchestrate and Workato Agentic, which are designed to integrate and manage AI agents with enterprise skills and context.
Workato's field chief technology officer (APAC) John Deeb, said: "We're seeing a growing appetite in the ANZ market for Agentic AI, but many businesses are realising that standalone agents without enterprise context or orchestration capabilities fall short. Workato One changes that by connecting agents, applications, and workflows into a unified, role-based AI experience."
ICON, an Australian construction company, has reported that Workato One has reduced leadership reporting time by up to a week per month. Digital Engineering Manager at ICON, Dominic Martens, said: "The construction industry is changing fast, driven by the rise of intelligent automation. With Workato, we can not only manage that change, but use it to drive competitive advantage."
Workato One features a suite of tools including Workato Agent Studio, Workato Agent Hub, Workato Agent Acumen, Workato Agent Trust, Workato Agent Orchestrator, Workato AIRO, and Workato MCP. These tools are designed to facilitate the integration and management of AI agents within enterprise environments.
AgentX Apps are pre-built applications that integrate with business applications, providing enterprise context and security. The platform is designed for scalability, performance, and availability, enabling IT and business teams to orchestrate applications, data, and experiences.
Workato has also announced a strategic alliance with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to integrate Workato One with Amazon Bedrock. This collaboration is expected to enhance the platform's capabilities and reach.
In recognition of its efforts, Workato was named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). Chief of AI Products & Solutions at Workato, Bhaskar Roy, said: "In today's AI-first world, apps and platforms have only scratched the surface of what is possible with AI. Workato One takes AI from the fringes of organisations to deploying it at its core, transforming them into Agentic Enterprises."
