Nova launches 'Skyline Sessions' live music series at QT Melbourne

Nova Entertainment is on track to launch a new live music series titled 'Skyline Sessions' in collaboration with QT Melbourne. The event will transform the Rooftop at QT into a live performance venue over four weekends in July and August.

The Skyline Sessions will feature 30-minute acoustic performances from a mix of emerging and established Australian artists. Entry to the events is free and open to the public, with an age restriction of 18 and over.

The series will commence on Saturday, 5 July, with a performance by Lachie Gill, winner of The Voice. Following performances will include Jem Cassar-Daley on 12 July, Chris Lanzon on 2 August, and Sam McGovern on 16 August.

The venue will open its doors on Saturdays from 12:00pm, with live music scheduled to run from 6:00pm to 12:30am.

Nova's Skyline Sessions marks the first live music event series of its kind launched by the network. It is described as a natural progression from Nova's Red Room, which has previously featured global artists in unique music experiences.

Nova Network’s Group Programming Director, Brendan Taylor, said: "Nova has always been committed to bringing great live music experiences to Australian audiences, and Nova’s Skyline Sessions is the next chapter. We’re proud to partner with QT Melbourne to offer Melburnians a unique music experience under the stars as a fresh way to enjoy live performance in the heart of the city."

Lachie Gill said: "I’m excited to be playing for you at Nova’s Skyline Sessions. For the last year I have been working on new material and can’t wait to share it with you first."
