Sydney's alt/shift/ grows stronger,
Vision takes its place.
Alt/shift/ strengthens Sydney leadership, hires former Poem exec as MD
alt/shift/ has recruited Katie Raleigh as Managing Director of its Sydney office. Raleigh joins the agency from Poem, where she held the position of Managing Director.
With over a decade of experience in consumer, entertainment, tech, and lifestyle brands, Raleigh brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. Her previous positions include roles at Samsung Electronics and One Green Bean.
"When I looked at what alt/shift/ has achieved in less than a decade - three offices nationwide, bold new services, and an exciting pipeline of work - it was clear this was where I wanted to be," Raleigh said. "I’ve long admired alt/shift/ for its fearless, behaviourally informed earned approach. Leading the Sydney team at such a pivotal moment was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I’m ready to dive in, champion fresh thinking, and build an agency that creates both cultural and commercial impact."
Elly Hewitt, Co-founder and National CEO of alt/shift/, commented on Raleigh's appointment, saying, "Katie’s reputation speaks for itself. She’s a brilliant operator with the vision, drive and creative smarts to lead our Sydney office into an exciting new chapter."
Hewitt also noted, "Katie’s known for delivering modern, culture-led work that earns real impact. I’m delighted that we could attract talent of her calibre to help us further develop our integrated offering. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Katie as a Shifty."
In addition to Raleigh's appointment, Conor Nastasi returns to alt/shift/ as Account Director after his tenure at Cancer Council NSW. Nastasi shared his thoughts on rejoining the agency, stating, "I loved my time at Cancer Council but found myself ready for a new challenge and excited by the agency’s direction, as well as the growth ambitions Katie has for the Sydney office."
These appointments are part of alt/shift/'s broader strategy to enhance its national presence and support its growth trajectory. The agency has recently promoted four senior team members to newly created Practice Head roles, further strengthening its leadership team.
alt/shift/ has also secured new business wins across consumer, corporate, and government portfolios. The agency's client roster includes notable names such as Boost, Officeworks, Ausbuild, Intrepid Travel, Mick Fanning Foundation, 99 Bikes, Dylan Alcott Foundation, Therabody, and Y Careers.
