Homes with bold spirit.
Domain and Kia unite to highlight Tasman Town's sporting appeal
Domain and Kia have joined forces in a campaign to sell a home in Tasman Town, a regional area gaining traction due to its association with sports stars and a previous campaign featuring tennis champion Ash Barty.
The campaign reunites the 'tradies' from Kia's Tasman Ute campaign, featuring notable sports figures such as AFL's Lance Franklin, NRL's Alfie Langer, and cricketer David Boon. The property listing is exclusive to Domain and includes a video tour hosted by local real estate agent Madge Doyle. The collaboration resulted in the sale of a property to MMA fighter Alex 'Volk' Volkanovski just 24 hours after it was listed on Domain.
The Tasman Town home boasts unique features including an original bank vault, a full-length balcony, and a lawn laid by tennis legend Pat Rafter. The campaign aims to underscore Tasman Town's community spirit and its allure for sports enthusiasts.
Heather McGovern, Domain’s Acting Chief Marketing Officer, said the team loved working with Kia to bring this idea to life.
"It gave us the perfect opportunity to have some fun, surprise a few people and celebrate everything Aussies love most – sport, humour, and homes with real character. Collaborating with Kia on Tasman Town just made sense, and showcasing it exclusively on Domain, the home of big, bold listings, brought it all together," she said.
Kia Australia’s GM Marketing, Dean Norbiato, shared similar sentiments. "Aussies have really connected with Tasman Town and we’re excited to share the next chapter with some of our favourite tradies rolling their sleeves up again," he said.
"Partnering with Domain felt like a natural next step. Together, we’ve brought the town to life in a fresh and memorable way that highlights Tasman Town’s community spirit: reliable, down to earth, and always up for a bit of banter, especially with the sporting royalty who call the postcode home."
The campaign capitalises on Tasman Town's growing reputation as a hub for sports stars, further cementing its status with the involvement of high-profile athletes. The swift sale of the property to Volkanovski highlights the area's appeal and the effectiveness of the campaign strategy.
The exclusive listing on Domain, combined with the engaging video tour, adds a layer of exclusivity and appeal to potential buyers.
