Kyndryl, Microsoft collaborate to launch AI Acceleration Hub

Kyndryl has partnered with Microsoft to launch the Kyndryl Microsoft Acceleration Hub, an initiative designed to expedite the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation for enterprise customers.

The Hub leverages the combined strengths of Kyndryl Consult's industry expertise and Microsoft's AI and cloud technologies. It is designed to deliver tailored, agentic AI solutions and capabilities specific to various industries.

Key features of the Hub include AI-first consulting and co-creation initiatives, utilising Kyndryl Vital and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. These resources are intended to support the development and deployment of AI solutions across different sectors.

Global innovation labs will play a crucial role in this initiative, including a newly established AI Innovation Lab in Liverpool. These labs are expected to provide a foundation for AI development and deployment, enhancing the capabilities of the Hub.

Kyndryl, which is recognised as the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, operates in over 60 countries. The company boasts a workforce of over 16,000 employees, with more than 26,000 Microsoft certifications among them.

Global Leader of Kyndryl Consult, Ismail Amla, said: "We are confidently doubling down on our successful collaboration with Microsoft because we know that the combination of Kyndryl Consult expertise with Microsoft technologies is a powerful duo that will help customers reap the benefits of AI, drive innovation, and achieve meaningful business outcomes."

Global Leader of SI & Advisory Partners at Microsoft, Stephen Boyle, said: "Kyndryl’s Microsoft Acceleration Hub represents the next evolution of our strategic collaboration and a shared commitment to helping enterprise customers unlock the full potential of AI."

Early adopters of the Hub, such as Care Safety Innovations, are already experiencing its capabilities. CTO of Care Safety Innovations, Anders Bjørnrud, said: "As a customer, we are thrilled about the Kyndryl Microsoft Acceleration Hub's transformative potential and believe it can help streamline our adoption and application of AI and enable better services for our customers."

In addition to launching the Hub, Kyndryl has recently achieved the AI Platform on Microsoft Azure specialisation and renewed its Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (MSP) designation. These achievements further solidify Kyndryl's position in the AI and cloud services market.
