KOJO acquires Prince PR, launches global PR offering

Sports, events, and entertainment agency, KOJO, has launched a global PR offering following the acquisition of boutique sports and entertainment consultancy, Prince PR.

The move is part of KOJO's strategic growth plan, which includes the appointment of key personnel and expansion into new markets.

Aiden Blizzard has been appointed as Head of Partnerships and Growth, a role that will see him oversee the relationships of current clients and develop opportunities for future growth. Blizzard, who has been instrumental in KOJO's growth over the last two years, will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's growth strategy as it expands beyond Australia and New Zealand.

"We have been working with our clients to grow their businesses in a broad range of industries and continue adapting our services to meet their needs," said KOJO Chief Executive, Stephen Lord. "Aiden’s approach, experience and energy will be important in the next phase of our growth, connecting us with new clients, growing our work with existing clients and forging new partnerships."

KOJO has offices across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the United States. The company's PR services will include campaigns and strategy, media relations, communications, event and activations publicity, content, and influencer relations.

Prince PR, founded by Britt Prince, is a boutique sports and entertainment consultancy. Prince, who has over 13 years of PR experience in sports, consumer brands, and agency roles, joins KOJO as the Head of PR. She has managed the publicity of some of the nation's top athletes and was previously at the helm of the AFL’s national PR team.

"KOJO is a global leader in the sports and entertainment industries with an award-winning culture, so I was thrilled by the opportunity to join the team," said Prince. "Our PR will be integrated and supported by some of the world’s best creative and strategic minds, leveraging the expertise of the KOJO teams to ensure every element of our work is considered and curated to deliver quality results."

Blizzard, with 20 years of experience and senior leadership roles across sporting organisations, clubs, and rights holders, is also looking forward to his new role. "I am excited to have the opportunity to take on a new role and to contribute to the strategy and execution of our growth plan as the business expands beyond Australia and New Zealand," he said.
