Brendon Hill takes the reins at Bauer

By Media Release - Bauer

Brendon Hill is the new ANZ chief executive at Bauer, following Paul Dykzeul’s retirement.

Dykzeul said he had taken the top job with the intention of finding a successor, and backed Hill, with whom he has worked for five years, to do “great things” with Bauer. “I’ve experienced first hand Brendon’s strong entrepreneurial skills, as well as his enthusiasm and vision,” said Dykzeul, adding his time at the company has been “a privilege”.

Hill joined Bauer Media Australia in 2006. He was transferred to New Zealand in 2015 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2017.

He said Dykzeul leaves Bauer in “an incredibly strong position with nearly 7 million unique monthly users of our 24 websites, over 14 million users on our social sites, 800 thousand eDMs sent each month, and nearly 9 million monthly highly engaged readers of our 57 magazines”.

Hill said delivering further growth and new opportunities for advertisers to engage with audiences are his priority.
