Ideally appoints Maura Halpin as marketing lead as it escalates ANZ growth plan

Customer Insights Platform, Ideally, has announced the appointment of Maura Halpin as its new Marketing Lead.

This move is part of Ideally's growth strategy following its launch in August 2023. Since its inception, the company has secured a $2.15m seed investment, expanded its team to nearly 20 staff across Australia and New Zealand, and now serves over 80 clients, including Telstra, Lion and Arnott's.

Halpin will report directly to Co-founder & CRO Joshua Nu'u-Steele and will be responsible for developing and implementing Ideally's marketing strategy. Her role has global responsibilities and will involve shaping Ideally's brand voice, expanding its community presence, and collaborating on Sales and Account-Based Marketing (ABM).

"I believe we have found that person in Maura, and we couldn't be more excited to have her join our team. With two-thirds of our customers being marketers, Maura's diverse skills set across media, creative, consumer research, and product marketing will help speak directly to our customers enabling Ideally to continue to push boundaries in revolutionising how brands gather insights and achieve growth," said Nu'u-Steele.

Halpin brings over 18 years of experience to Ideally, including 11 years at Google ANZ in various roles, most recently as Go-to-Market Lead for Google's Consumer Apps portfolio in Australia. Prior to Google, Halpin held brand & communication strategy roles in San Francisco's leading creative advertising agencies and strategy innovator, Naked Communications in Sydney.

In addition to Halpin, Ideally has also recently hired Anastasia Ramsey as Customer Success Lead and Geena Fulmer as Enterprise BDM, both located in Auckland; and Liv Walker, Product Designer, located in Sydney.
