Logistics tech platform Shippit, which claims to have powered deliveries to 40 per cent of Australians, has overhauled its leadership team with two new senior appointments.

Brett Chester joins as chief marketing officer while the new chief product officer is Inga Latham.

According to a company statement, the hires will help the scale-up business achieve what it describes as its vision for the future of retail, logistics and ecommerce.

Latham brings over two decades of experience, including stints at at Yahoo, Lastminute.com, and Siteminder, where she also held the role of CPO.

Chester meanwhile has an extensive background in retail, and experience growing fast scaling SaaS companies in Silicon Valley.
