Captify appoints Megan McElderry as new commercial director to drive growth

Captify has appointed Megan McElderry as its new Commercial Director, a role that has been newly created within the company.

McElderry will be responsible for leading the search intelligence company's sales and client service teams, with a focus on delivering for its expanding client base and exploring new growth opportunities.

McElderry brings nearly two decades of experience in media sales across Australia and the UK to her new role. Prior to joining Captify, she served as the NSW Sales Leader at GumGum. Her career also includes significant positions at Yahoo and Verizon Media, where she managed major agency holding group accounts.

Captify, known for providing real-time audiences and insights through its Search Intelligence, claims to hold the largest amount of onsite search data outside of walled gardens. This data is utilised to understand consumer interests and motivations, aiding in pre-campaign strategy, audience development, programmatic activation, and measurement and insights.

Jaclyn Hadida, Captify's Managing Director for Australia, commented on McElderry's appointment, stating, "Megan's appointment is pivotal in driving a truly unified approach that harnesses the collective strength of our sales and client service teams, all working seamlessly towards Captify's north star of growth, expansion and relentless innovation within the dynamic data and adtech ecosystem."
