Kyndryl and Microsoft launch AI acceleration hub for enterprises
Kyndryl and Microsoft have launched the Kyndryl Microsoft Acceleration Hub, a collaborative effort designed to expedite the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation among enterprise clients. This initiative merges Kyndryl Consult's industry expertise with Microsoft's AI and cloud technologies to provide bespoke AI solutions.
The Acceleration Hub offers several key features, including AI-first consulting and co-creation, global innovation labs, and scalable workforce readiness. It utilises Kyndryl Vital and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry to develop AI solutions that enhance autonomy and decision-making capabilities.
A new AI Innovation Lab in Liverpool forms part of the global network of innovation labs supporting the Hub. This facility aims to foster the development of AI solutions within the framework of the Hub's objectives.
Kyndryl has invested in its workforce to align with Microsoft's technology stack, with over 16,000 employees having earned more than 26,000 Microsoft certifications. This effort underscores the company's commitment to leveraging Microsoft's technological capabilities.
Early adopters of the Hub, such as Care Safety Innovations, have reported potential improvements in service delivery and efficiency. Anders Bjørnrud, CTO of Care Safety Innovations, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, "As a customer, we are thrilled about the Kyndryl Microsoft Acceleration Hub's transformative potential and believe it can help streamline our adoption and application of AI and enable better services for our customers."
Kyndryl has also achieved the AI Platform on Microsoft Azure specialisation and renewed its Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (MSP) designation, a status attained by less than 2% of Microsoft's partners. This recognition highlights Kyndryl's capabilities in delivering AI-driven solutions on the Azure platform.
Ismail Amla, Global Leader of Kyndryl Consult, commented on the collaboration, saying, "We are confidently doubling down on our successful collaboration with Microsoft because we know that the combination of Kyndryl Consult expertise with Microsoft technologies is a powerful duo that will help customers reap the benefits of AI, drive innovation, and achieve meaningful business outcomes."
Stephen Boyle, Global Leader of SI & Advisory Partners at Microsoft, remarked on the strategic partnership, noting, "Kyndryl’s Microsoft Acceleration Hub represents the next evolution of our strategic collaboration and a shared commitment to helping enterprise customers unlock the full potential of AI."
Kyndryl operates as a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, with a presence in over 60 countries. The launch of the Acceleration Hub marks a significant step in its ongoing collaboration with Microsoft, aiming to enhance AI capabilities and digital transformation for enterprise customers worldwide.
