Canva integrates with LinkedIn ads to streamline content creation
Canva has unveiled a new LinkedIn Ads app, enabling users to create, customise, and export content directly from Canva to LinkedIn Ads accounts.
This integration is available to Canva's extensive user base of 230 million and businesses managing 69 million company pages on LinkedIn. With this development, Canva has become a certified LinkedIn Marketing Partner.
The app is specifically designed for social media managers, content creators, digital marketers, and anyone responsible for LinkedIn content and advertising. According to reports, LinkedIn videos garner 1.4 times more engagement than traditional posts, with video content viewership increasing by 36% year over year. The integration aims to streamline the path from concept to campaign, by eliminating multiple steps, thereby enhancing efficiency and campaign deployment.
The app allows users to create video and image ads using Canva templates optimised for LinkedIn and export them directly to LinkedIn Campaign Manager. This integration is intended to assist marketing teams in delivering content faster without compromising on quality.
The app was first demonstrated live at the Canva Create keynote. It combines Canva's design tools with LinkedIn's reach and targeting capabilities. The app is accessible to anyone with a LinkedIn Campaign Manager account.
This integration lets teams design video and image ads in Canva and export them directly to LinkedIn Campaign Manager – streamlining the path from concept to campaign.
The workflow is designed to assist teams in launching new products, building brands, or scaling content across regions. "Whether you’re launching a new product, building your brand, or scaling content across regions, this workflow helps you move faster, stay on-brand, and maximize performance, every time," the company stated.
Canva's marketplace, which includes over 600 apps, now features the LinkedIn Ads app as part of its ecosystem.
