Alt/shift/ promotes internally for new head of practice roles

Independent creative communications agency alt/shift/ has promoted four senior team members to newly established Practice Head roles as part of the firm's strategy to recognise and leverage internal talent.

Alycia Jack has been appointed as the Head of PR. and in her new role will focus on a modern earned approach and social-first strategies. She has been with alt/shift/ for nearly six years, managing a client portfolio that includes Officeworks and Intrepid Travel.

Damian Davitt has been promoted to Head of Social & Content, and is set to lead a team tasked with delivering culturally relevant work across both organic and paid platforms. He has been part of the agency for four years, working with clients such as Boost Juice and Origin Energy.

Sophie Truter steps into the role of Head of Integrated and will oversee government, education, and corporate portfolios with a strategy-led approach. She has been with alt/shift/ for six years, managing campaigns for the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and the Victorian Department of Health.

Sofya Daroy has been named the People, Performance & Culture Director, focusing on talent development and agency culture. She has been with the agency for almost seven years, previously leading operations.

These promotions are indicative of alt/shift/'s growth and its commitment to recognising and nurturing talent from within the organisation.

Alt/shift co-founder and National CEO, Elly Hewitt, said: "There’s nothing more rewarding than watching brilliant people thrive. Alycia, Damian, Sophie and Sofya have each carved out their own path, and these new roles are a testament to their talent and drive. It’s incredibly exciting—not just for their careers, but for what it means for alt/shift/ as a whole. Their growth is powering our agency forward, and our clients are already feeling the impact.

"We couldn’t be prouder of our Shifties and what they bring to the agency everyday. Their expertise and brilliant approach to delivering impactful work for our clients and thoughtful leadership for our team across our three offices inspires us every day."
