BankVic CMO joins Flybuys as Chief Customer Officer

After almost four years as Chief Product and Marketing Officer at BankVic, Deirdre Boyle has joined Flybuys as its Chief Customer Officer.

Australia’s biggest loyalty program, Flybuys, has named BankVic Chief Product and Marketing Officer Deidre Boyle as its new Chief Customer Officer, overseeing the member experience and aiming to boost customer advocacy.

Boyle, who previously worked at insurer AIA, Medibank and Westpac, has worked for more than 20 years in strategy, marketing, customer experience and planning, overseeing multi-year projects redesigning digital and physical experiences.

Flybuys’ Chief Executive Officer, Anna Lee said in a statement the appointment would continue putting members and customers “at the centre of everything we do”. “I’m delighted to have someone of Deirdre’s calibre leading the team,” she said.

Boyle said: “For over 28 years, Flybuys has attracted millions of loyal customers in Australia. It’s an exciting time for the business, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to build great experiences for our members and partners to help Australians get even more value from their everyday shopping.”
